About the product
- EST. 1945 Toschi began its story at the end of WWII in Vignola Italy when Giancarlo and Lanfranco Toschi first dipped the famous local cherries in alcohol to preserve them. Since then Amarena cherries have taken the top spot in cocktail cherries the world over.
- COCKTAIL CHERRIES Carefully selected stoned and sweetened these sour black cherries are the gourmet alternative to artificial maraschino cherries. The best bartenders reach for real Italian cherries like Toschi Amarena to garnish cocktails such as the old fashioned and the manhattan. The sweet and sour taste and syrupy texture provide an elegant touch to your favorite drink.
- DESSERT CHERRIES Both the cherries and the luscious syrup they come in make delightful dessert toppings for ice cream milkshakes Belgian waffles and traditional Italian pastries like zeppole di San Giuseppe. Also bake Toschi Amarena Cherries into cakes and breads.
- SAVORY RECIPES Because of their sweet and sour flavor profile Toschi Amarena Cherries pair well with savory foods. Enjoy a crostini with brie or goat cheese topped with these Italian cherries on your next cheese board. For dinner use Toschi Amarena to dress roast duck and potatoes.
