- MADE WITH PAU DARCO INNER BARK Maxx Herb Pau D'Arco is wild-harvested from the Lapacho tree. We only use the nutrient rich inner bark of the tree (reddish purple color) which is much more potent and effective than the cheaper grayish outer bark that other brands use. In addition, our herb strength is 8 lbs per gallon (1:1 Menstruum Ratio) compared to other formulas which are typically 2-4 lbs per gallon, making our extract much more potent and effective.
